Blog — Vedron

Every seller ends up with a CSV they need to load, or a report they need to pull. In Vedron this is a first-class part of the product.

What you can move

Products, orders and customers, in both directions. Exports come out as CSV or JSON, with the columns and date range you pick. Imports accept CSV and Excel.

What is checked before anything saves

Every row is validated first. Columns are checked, values are checked, and rows are processed one at a time. If a row has a problem, that row is reported back to you with the reason on it. The good rows save. You do not end up with a half-loaded file.

Whose data you see

You only ever see your own. That is true everywhere in Vedron, and it is true here too.

Common questions

A few rows in my file are wrong. Does the whole thing fail? No. The good rows save and you get a short list of the ones that did not, with the reason for each.

Can I export just a date range or specific columns? Yes, both.

What about very large files? Larger exports run in the background so a big catalog does not slow anything down.

Talk to us about your setup

The first big import is usually the one where you want someone next to you. Book a short call and our team will do it with you the first time, on your real data. After that you will run them yourself.
